Everyone loves Target. And with an adorable dog mascot and store aisles that smell like popcorn and Starbucks, how could you not
Over the years, Target has rolled out influencer marketing campaigns with a variety of names, from big celebrities like Blake Lively and Robert Downey Jr. to countless nano and micro creators with smaller followings.
If you’re a creator interested in working with Target, this guide is for you. We’ll talk about all the current ways the brand partners with creators: the Target Ambassador Program, Target Partners, and Club Target.
All the Ways Creators Partner With Target

In 2026, Target retired its old creator program and launched two new programs in its place: Club Target and the Target Ambassadors Program. Keep scrolling to learn about those, as well as Target Partners, the brand’s main affiliate marketing program.
Target Partners
Target Partners is Target's long-running affiliate marketing program. It lets creators, bloggers, publishers, and influencers earn commissions by promoting Target products through unique affiliate links.
Target Partners is managed through Impact, an affiliate marketing platform where creators can create tracking links, view clicks and sales, make creative assets, and manage their payouts.
When someone clicks your link, Target tracks that visitor for seven days. If they make a qualifying purchase during that window, you earn a commission (commissions vary by product category and can be as high as 8%). Even better, you can earn commissions on multiple qualifying orders they place within those seven days, not just their first purchase.
Who can become a Target Partner?
The Target Partners Program is open to website owners, bloggers, creators, and creator networks that publish family-friendly content primarily for U.S. audiences. Creators can apply from anywhere in the world, provided Impact supports their country of residence, and they meet Target's program requirements.
Cyndi Spivey (@cyndispivey), a fashion and lifestyle creator, is both a Target Partner and an Amazon Associate. She posts a lot of affiliate content on her Instagram, Facebook Page, and blog. Here’s an example featuring Target products:

Club Target
Club Target is a community for casual creators who regularly post Target-related content. You don’t need to be a professional influencer to participate. Members participate in challenges, create shopping content, and engage with other creators while earning rewards and recognition from Target.
Club Target launched in May 2026 alongside Target Ambassadors. Both Club Target and the Target Ambassadors Program are powered by LTK.
Who can become a Club Target member?
Club Target is designed for everyday creators who like to share their Target finds on social media. Unlike the Target Partners affiliate program, you don't need to run a blog or website, or have a specific follower count, to participate.
You can apply to become a member by creating a Club Target account.

Target Ambassador Program
The Target Ambassador Program is an affiliate program for creators who want to earn money promoting Target products on social media. Target Ambassadors receive a curated Target storefront on LTK where they can recommend products and earn commissions when shoppers make qualifying purchases through their links.
Ambassadors may also receive invites to participate in exclusive campaigns, product launches, and opportunities to collaborate directly with Target.
Who can become a Target Ambassador?
Unlike Club Target, the Ambassador Program is intended for established creators with an engaged audience and a track record of creating shopping or lifestyle content. While Target hasn't published minimum follower or engagement requirements, creators must apply through LTK and be accepted into the program.
Which Target Creator Program Should You Join?

Now you know your options, but which one is right for you?
- Join Target Partners if you want to earn affiliate commissions by sharing Target products on your blog, website, newsletter, or social media. It's the best fit for creators focused on driving traffic and sales.
- Join Club Target if you are a casual creator who enjoys creating Target-related content and wants to connect with other creators, participate in challenges, and earn rewards.
- Join Target Ambassadors if you're an established creator with an engaged audience who wants to monetize your Target content through LTK while gaining access to exclusive campaigns and brand opportunities.
Also, these programs aren't mutually exclusive; you can participate in more than one program. For example, you could use Target Partners to earn affiliate commissions while also joining Club Target for community perks. Likewise, creators accepted into the Target Ambassador Program can still participate in Club Target.
