What is CSA STAR?
The Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) is the world's largest organization dedicated to cloud security, with over 100,000 members globally. Its frameworks are used by regulators, enterprise procurement teams, and security professionals as the baseline for evaluating cloud providers.
The STAR (Security, Trust, Assurance, and Risk) Registry is CSA's public registry of cloud provider security practices. It is built on the Cloud Controls Matrix (CCM), a framework covering the full range of cloud security domains, from identity and access management to supply chain transparency.
