Women-led, but open to all, March On is a progressive movement which centers people at the root of our power. We recognize that how we make decisions, big or small, must reflect our core values as a grassroots organization. We conduct ourselves with transparency and integrity as we take on projects that will engender substantial and sustainable change. We take a holistic approach to the important issues facing our country today, recognizing our interdependence. We cannot achieve economic justice without social justice, we cannot focus on improving the lives of some without improving the lives of all. We believe nonviolence is the best way to effect change. While we, as separate organizations and entities, hold a diverse range of priorities, agendas, and political orientations, the coalition has committed to genuine collaboration towards achieving our shared goals. We are patriots, who believe that America is a place where all people should have full and equal rights right to liberty, justice, and dignity. March On seeks to uplift the voices of marginalized groups, including, but not limited to, immigrants of all statuses, those of diverse religious faiths, people who identify as LGBTQIA, Native people, Black and Brown people, people with disabilities, people living in poverty, and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Our approach is not merely inclusive. Becoming a more intersectional group means not only inviting people into an existing structure, but also allowing new groups to disrupt our institutional norms.
