Vivek has also been recognized for his singing. In 2009, he won Saavn's Bollystar Contest, judged by legendary Bollywood movie director Pritam, with his rendition of Kabhi Kabhi Aditi, winning the opportunity to sing in multiple Bollywood movies in India. He also performed live on stage at the Hollywood Bowl alongside AR Rahman and the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
